Meet Hannah

Hannah Moon, founder of Liminal Deathcare, is a deathcare provider based in Kansas City, Missouri. Their passion for deathcare emerged from healing their own spiritual trauma and church abuse, which led them to seek therapy and learn more about death and dying. Since spring 2021, they have invested in their education and training, including a 9-month apprenticeship with Narinder Bazen and in-person training by a local Hospice director.

What sets Hannah's approach to deathcare apart is their focus on celebrating differences and respecting the autonomy of their clients. They have a particular focus on helping the Queer community, chronically ill, marginalized, and neurodivergent individuals.

For Hannah, death and dying are a sacred part of life, full of mystery and beauty. They believe that if embraced with curiosity- growth, healing, and comfort can be found during this time of liminality.

As a deathcare provider, Hannah helps individuals and families navigate the end-of-life journey by providing education on what end-of-life looks like, understanding the necessary paperwork, and guiding them through contemplation of mortality. They help clients plan for their death space and ensure that their caregivers are equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions that minimize suffering.

With a compassionate and personalized approach to end-of-life care, Hannah is committed to empowering their clients and their loved ones to navigate this final journey with dignity and peace.
